Why do you need my card details?

We need your card details as it is part of our verification process which all of our carers have to complete. 

Your card details are securely stored by Stripe (the payment system we use) and we cannot see any of these details apart from the last 4 digits of the long card number and the expiry date. The verification process will not charge your card.

If you take cash bookings, we also use this card to ensure that commission is collected from your card - we will not be able to approve your profile if card details are missing. 

Please also note that if we find that card details have expired or have insufficient funds, your carer account will become limited until this has been resolved.
